We know that in pure electric vehicles, the high-voltage electrical system is mainly responsible for starting, driving, charging and discharging and air conditioning power, including battery system, powertrain, high-voltage electronic control system, charging system, high-voltage equipment and its wiring harness system.


At present, there are three types of high-voltage system architecture that can realize high-power fast charging:


1. Pure 800V voltage platform; High voltage platform, battery pack, motor and charging interface all reach 800V, OBC, air conditioning compressor, DC/DC and PTC are re-adapted to meet 800V high voltage platform.


2. It is combined by two 400V battery packs; Two low-voltage battery packs are used and combined through the design of high-voltage distribution box. During fast charging, two battery packs can be connected in series to form an 800V platform; During operation, two battery packs are connected in parallel to form a 400V platform to adapt to 400V high-voltage components. The advantage of this scheme is that OBC, air conditioning compressor, DC/DC, PTC and other components do not need to be re-adapted in a short time, and the cost is relatively low.


3. 800V battery pack with DC/DC converter. The whole vehicle is equipped with an 800V battery pack, and an additional DC/DC is added between the battery pack and other high-voltage components to reduce the 800V voltage to 400V. Other high-voltage components on the vehicle use a 400V voltage platform.
